Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
UniComm Solutions respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information provided through our website, business communications, and internal Staff SMS Alerts program.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with UniComm Solutions, we may collect:
- Contact information you provide when requesting information, support, or services, such as your name, company, email address, and telephone number.
- Information you include in correspondence with us.
- Technical information generated when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and access timestamps.
- For participating employees, mobile telephone numbers, signed SMS consent forms, enrollment records, messaging preferences, and message delivery records associated with our Staff SMS Alerts program.
Please do not submit passwords or other sensitive information through general website inquiries.
How We Use Information
We use information as appropriate to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested services.
- Communicate about business relationships and support requests.
- Operate, maintain, and protect our website and systems.
- Administer employee enrollment in our Staff SMS Alerts program.
- Deliver authorized notifications and honor messaging preferences.
- Maintain necessary business records and meet applicable legal obligations.
Providing a telephone number for an inquiry, employment record, or other purpose does not automatically enroll that number in our SMS program.
Staff SMS Alerts
UniComm Solutions Staff SMS Alerts is an internal notification program available only to enrolled UniComm Solutions employees.
Messages concern automated IT monitoring, including server outages, disk-space warnings, security events, failed monitoring checks, failed maintenance tasks, and recovery notices.
Employees must provide separate signed SMS consent before an administrator enables their mobile number for alerts. Employment alone does not constitute enrollment.
Messages are recurring. Message frequency varies according to monitored system activity. Messages may arrive outside normal business hours. Message and data rates may apply.
Enrollment instructions and the consent form are available on our Staff SMS Alerts page.
Mobile Information and SMS Consent
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS consent is specific to the UniComm Solutions Staff SMS Alerts program. We do not transfer that consent to another organization or authorize another organization to use it for its own messaging.
We may provide information to service providers supporting administration and delivery of this program, including messaging providers and wireless carriers, solely as necessary to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Any broader permission to share information elsewhere in this policy does not authorize the sharing of mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or consent for marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS Choices and Support
To unsubscribe, reply STOP to any Staff SMS Alerts message. You will receive a confirmation, and further program messages will stop unless you subsequently opt back in.
Previously enrolled employees may reply START to restore SMS delivery. Sending START does not create a new employee enrollment or establish eligibility.
For assistance, reply HELP or email info@unicomm-solutions.com.
Additional program details are available in our SMS Terms and Conditions.
Other Information Disclosures
We may disclose information to service providers when necessary to operate our website, provide requested services, maintain security, or administer business operations.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect people, systems, or legal rights.
These disclosures remain subject to the restrictions on mobile information and SMS consent stated above.
Information Security and Retention
We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. No method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee complete security.
We retain information as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including administering services, documenting SMS consent and messaging preferences, resolving disputes, and meeting applicable legal obligations.
Your Privacy Requests
Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or business-record purposes.
An SMS unsubscribe request does not require an email or identity-verification process; reply STOP as described above.
External Websites
Our website may link to websites operated by other organizations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. Updates will be published on this page with a revised date. Updating this policy does not, by itself, enroll anyone in SMS messaging or expand an existing SMS consent.
